This is a special tour where you get a real taste of India riding a bike to visit the interiors of the city. Visit the highlight of India and explore the surroundings at your own pace. See and feel India the way Indians do. Do practice the use of the cycle bell which is used very often while riding around the crowded cities, since you must make your presence felt on the road least cows and buffalos will block your way.
Day 01:Arrive DelhiArrive Delhi and meet our representative at the arrival hall and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon proceed on a tour of New Delhi, visit the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys; the India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war; the Laxminarayan Temple, built by the Birlas, one of India’s leading industrial families; Qutab Minar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty; and the lotus-shaped Baha'i Temple.
Morning sightseeing tour of Old Delhi. The important places in Old Delhi includes the majestic Red Fort, the historical Chandni Chowk, besides Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana.
Morning drive to Mandawa. Arrive Mandawa and check – in at hotel. Afternoon free to take a walking or a bike tour of the painted 'Havelis' in Shekhawati region belonging to some of the leading business families of the country.
Morning drive to Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur and check – in at hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Jaipur including, City Palace in the heart of Jaipur is known for its blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Not far away is the Central Museum with its large collection of woodwork. Another monument near the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. The Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen.
Morning excursion to Amber Fort, situated just outside the city. You can have the unique experience of traveling on elephant back to and from the top of the hill on which the fort is situated. The remaining day is at your disposal to independently explore the crowded and colorful lanes of the pink city’s bazaars and of course you could use your bike for this.
Morning drive to Karauli. Switch over en route to your bikes and explore the lovely countryside. Arrive Karauli and check – in at hotel. Later in the day you will have an opportunity to explore the colorful bazaars and its narrow lanes on your bike and also visit the attractions like City Palace, a treasure trove of architecture, stone carvings, gorgeous jalli work and classic paintings. Visit local bazaars for exclusive items of handicraft, and colorful bangles of Karauli.
Morning drive to Agra visiting enroute Bharatpur bird sanctuary where you can enjoy a cycle rickshaw to see birds in their natural habitat and also visit Fatehpur Sikri, an abandoned city that was hardly ever inhabited on account of shortage of water. Also stop at. Arrive Agra and check – in at hotel.
Early morning Taj Mahal on your bike, which is entirely made of white marble and its walls are decorated with exquisite pietra dura (stone inlay) work. Later visit Agra Fort (also called the Red Fort), which retains the irregular outline of the demolished mud-wall fort of the Lodis.. The Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula is located in a walled garden overlooking the Yamuna. Akbar’s tomb at Sikandra, located in a large walled garden on the road to Delhi.
Morning drive to Delhi visiting Mathura and Vrindavan enroute. Mathura is famous as the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Besides being an important pilgrim place of the Hindus, it is one of the seven most sacred cities in India; and Vrindavan, associated with the childhood exploits of Lord Krishna.
