Duration: 19 Days

This journey travels on winding roads, through forests, grand mountain scenery and lush green valleys. Stay at small privately owned residences, Forts and Palaces. There is ample opportunity to explore the hill stations, Buddhist temples and monasteries along the way.

Day 01:Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi and meet our representative at arrival hall and transfer to hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Old Delhi includes the majestic Red Fort, the historical Chandni Chowk, besides Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana. Arrive Delhi. Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. In the tour of the Old city visit Red Fort built by Emperor Shah Jahan; see Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosque in India, Raj Ghat- the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi and Shanti Van; walk along chandni chowk, the silver street of Delhi bustling with activity.

Day 02:To Shimla

Morning proceed on a tour of New Delhi visiting the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys; the India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war; the Laxmi Narayan Temple, built by the Birlas, one of India’s leading industrial families; Qutab Minar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty; and the lotus-shaped Baha’i Temple. In the evening transfer to Railway Station to board overnight train for Kalka.

Day 03:In Shimla

Morning drive to Shimla, rest of the day at leisure to explore the Summer Capital of British Raj. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04:To Sarahan

Morning starts your jeep safari and leave early for Sarahan. Sarahan is a beautifully located Himalayan township amid mountains with Shrikhand Mahadev Peak looming as a backdrop at 5155m. Later visit Bhimkali Temple for a rare combination of Buddhist and Hindu architecture.

Day 05:To Sangla

Morning continue Jeep safari to arrive at Sangla. Arrive Sangla and camp on the banks of River Baspa. The famous Kinner Kailash Peak at 6600m dominates the background.

Day 06:In Sangla

Day return excursion to Kamru fort and then drive to Chitkul, the last inhabited village in Sangla valley surrounded by green fields and high mountain peaks.

Day 07:To Nako

Morning leave for Nako. Arirve Nako and camp at the village.

Day 08:In Tabo

Morning drive to Tabo and camp at the village.

Day 09: To Pin

Morning drive for Pin and camp at the village.

Day 10:To Kaza

Morning drive to Kaza and camp at the village.

Day 11:In Kaza

Morning sightseeing tour of Kaza visiting the famous Ki Monastery, which is visible, right from the road and is amongst the highest inhabited villages in the world.

Day 12:To Batal

Morning drive to Batal, base of Kunzum pass enroute visiting lofty Shigri Glacier.

Day 13:To Darcha

Morning drive to Darcha. Stop just after Batal to photograph Bara Shingri Glacier at 3657m. En route also visit Khardong Monastery at Keylong at 3350m. Arrive Darcha and camp beside river Bhaga.

Day 14:To Pang

Morning drive to Pang visiting Baralacha Pass en route at 4885m. The word Baralacha means ‘a pass with cross roads’. The pass has roads coming from Zanskar, Ladakh, Spiti valley & Lahaul valley. Arrive Pang and camp at the village.

Day 15:To Leh

Morning drive to Leh at 3523m via Kyungshu Plains for 45kms. En route halt at Tanglang-La at 5360m, the highest motorable pass in the world. Arrive Leh and check – in at hotel. Afternoon walk around in the bazaars and get a feel of the lovely town.

Day 16: In Leh

Morning sightseeing tour of Leh including the massive Tibetan Buddhist Gompas & monasteries of Hemis, Shey and Thiksey.

Day 17:In Leh

Morning visit Shankar Monastery and Spituk monastery.

Day 18:To Delhi

In time transfer to the airport to board flight for Delhi. Arrive Delhi and transfer to hotel.

Day 19:Leave Delhi

You will be accompanied by our representative to airport to board flight for onward destination. End of our services.
